Does Your Main Menu Actually Lead To Products?
A 5-minute check for whether your obvious 'Shop' path lands on real buyable products or an empty room.
If your main menu says Shop, Products, or Browse, that link has one job: land people on things they can buy.
Not an empty category. Not a retired collection. Not a "No results found" sitting there like a threat.
Customers click the obvious thing — so test the obvious thing.
The 5-minute human check
Do this like someone who's never seen your store:
- Open your site in an incognito window.
- Click the most obvious "products" path in the menu.
- Ask: do I immediately see real, buyable products — or a dead end?
- Try it on mobile too.
You're looking for empty collections, outdated links, or any moment a customer could think maybe nothing's for sale here.
If the menu says products and the page says none, your store is arguing with itself in public. Point the link at the real listing, or redirect the empty page. This isn't a "later" task.

Check whether the obvious product path on my site leads to real buyable products or an empty room.
My website is:
[PASTE YOUR WEBSITE]
Check:
- the main-nav links that look like they lead to products
- whether they land on real product listings
- whether any obvious path hits an empty collection or dead end
- whether mobile and desktop behave differently
Then tell me: which path is the obvious buying route, whether it works, what's broken or empty, and the smallest useful fix first.
Copies only the prompt text above.
Sometimes customers didn't leave because they're flaky. They left because the store handed them a map to an empty room.
One wrong link with a clear fix — DIY it. Navigation, collections and journey all haunted at once? That's Fix It.
